Hancock Gorge Karijini!

I was lucky to have a few days to kill after an industrial photoshoot near Karratha, so I headed to Karijini National Park. It’s surprisingly close, if you take the rail access road! Arriving at Karijini became slightly overwhelming though, having to choose from one of the many amazing gorges there is to see. Where to start! Joffre, Weano, Knox, Hammersley, Dales, Kalamina… and all the rest!

The image below is from one of the most spectacular – Hancock Gorge. Hope you enjoy the image, comments and thoughts are appreciated. For anyone planning to get to Karijini’s Hancock Gorge – I would recommend climbing out BEFORE the sun goes down!

  2. Hi Dan I really like the colours and the waterfall. Nice composition too, the foreground rocks lead your eye right up into the image. How long was your exposure to get the water looking like that?
