Brooding Storm | Longreach Qld
I’m always on the hunt for an image like this, and you’ve got to drive a fair distance to find a spot where the view is un-hindered for as far as you can see! So I guess you’d say I was fairly excited when we pulled up here with a storm brewing to the north. Had a few minutes where the sun decided to sneek through, and it just went pop!

Stunning, I love road shots, Into The Wild and this is just about perfect. Longreach is one area I would really like to visit, I wonder if I could go there in Nov when I’m in Cairns. I love the clouds, colours, dirt road to infinty. A winner!
Did you by any chance shoot an off-center version as well? Would be interesting to see the difference.

Fantastic image Dan, you’ve done it again , its a yep mate.
My only negative is maybe the top of the sky is a touch to dark but it works well just the same.
